New Veterinary Hospital Breaks Ground in Buda’s Growing Healthcare Market

BUDA, TX – Dr. Sandra Ontiveros and Robert Amoroso celebrated the groundbreaking of their new veterinary practice in Buda on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. The ceremony marked the beginning of construction on their 6,500-square-foot standalone facility at 835 Main Street.

The new Buda Veterinary Care facility represents a significant expansion of veterinary services in the area, more than doubling the size of typical clinics in the region. The practice will feature separate cat and dog entrances and advanced diagnostic equipment to serve the growing pet population in Buda.

“We are excited to share our considerable experience and unrushed approach to pet care. Our new facility will feature the latest technology and conveniences for Buda’s pets and clients,” said Dr. Sandra Ontiveros.

Robert Amoroso added, “Having done this in Austin for nearly 20 years, we are incredibly excited to bring what we’ve learned to the great community of Buda.”

The project addresses a clear market need identified through demographic analysis.

The project addresses a clear market need identified through demographic analysis. “Market research has identified a robust demand for veterinary services in Buda,” noted Mark Storey, President and Central Texas Agent at Practice Real Estate Group, who helped secure the strategic location for the practice.

Following the groundbreaking ceremony, attendees enjoyed lunch catered by Brooklyn’s Down South, a local Buda restaurant.

The new practice is expected to open in late 2024 and will provide comprehensive veterinary services to the Buda community.
