Blake Kohler

Blake grew up in Hockley, Texas, and graduated from Waller High School before attending Texas A&M University. Before joining Practice Real Estate Group, he worked at JCJ Law Group, negotiating medical liens on behalf of a large medical provider headquartered in the Houston area. He built a network of attorney contacts and earned a reputation for delivering quick, fair, straightforward outcomes on every negotiation, posting the firm’s highest settlement numbers by his third month on the job.

Blake credits his approach to listening more than talking, holding that it’s hard to learn from the people around you if you’re too busy talking over them. He brings that same discipline to healthcare real estate, taking the view that anything worthwhile requires putting in the effort other people are unwilling to.

Blake lives in Montrose while the rest of his family is still in Hockley. Outside of work, Blake travels without a plan, favoring backpacking trips with no set itinerary, and spends his free time on personal finance and hunting.
