Rusty Hutson
Associate Agent
Rusty has deep roots in Austin, having grown up in the city. He’s a proud graduate of the University of Texas. Before joining the real estate industry, Rusty had a fulfilling role at Young Life, working with the college ministry at his alma mater.
Clients appreciate Rusty’s relationship-focused approach to healthcare real estate, noting his ability to truly listen and understand their practice vision before suggesting potential locations. Healthcare professionals value his authentic interest in their long-term success and his commitment to finding spaces that align with their specific practice goals. Many point to his big-picture perspective as particularly helpful when making significant real estate decisions.
Practice owners working with Rusty frequently mention his accessibility and responsiveness throughout the search and negotiation process. His background in ministry has given him exceptional people skills that translate into a consultative approach to real estate, putting clients at ease during what can be a stressful decision-making process. Doctors particularly value his patience and willingness to explore multiple options until the perfect location is found.
Rusty’s dedication to encouraging and supporting others on their journeys stems from his understanding of the challenges life presents. His commitment to providing value to hardworking doctors in the healthcare industry allows him to make a meaningful difference in their practice success.
In 2022, Rusty married his beautiful wife, Emma, and they both enjoy living in Mueller. The couple is excited about the idea of raising a family in their hometown, surrounded by family, including nieces and nephews they adore. Rusty’s a people person, so you’ll most likely find him out and about socializing. However, he also appreciates evenings at home watching the latest movie or TV show, as well as taking care of his beloved house plants. Rusty grew up as the youngest kid of a high school coach, so he loves sports and is known to be fairly competitive. Whether it’s a card game or volleyball, he’d rather win than lose. Although winning is fun for Rusty, he now finds the same thrill in watching doctors achieve their dreams and serve their community.
