This is a full-time contractor position as an associate commercial real estate agent helping medical practices and businesses find great spaces for their businesses. This is a commission-only position, however, a draw against commissions is available for well qualified candidates.
Associate Agents at PRG are typically paired with a mentor agent and assist them and other senior agents in the firm with transactions as they build their skill set, knowledge, and their own book of business. Our most successful associates have been people with a drive to improve themselves, provide great service to their clients, and to master a craft.
This is a full time role that typically falls during normal business hours, but expect some work later into the evenings on occasion.
Associate Agents typically have between 0 and 3 years of previous CRE experience, but previous experience in CRE is strongly preferred. While a current license is not necessary to start you must at least have started your coursework to apply.
While associate agents typically split commissions with other agents on the majority of their early transactions, compensation as a CRE agent is truly only limited by your ability to network effectively, hustle on behalf of your clients, and build a reputation of competency and trustworthiness in the industry.
Top producers at our firm routinely earn in excess of $300,000 per year, usually by year 4 or 5 and we have agents that have done over $1M in gross commissions in a year.
Additional income opportunities in M&A, development, and landlord listing opportunities are available to established agents whose skills are a good match.

To be successful in this role you need to be very comfortable on the phone and a computer. You need to be a quick learner.
Quickly and accurately gathering and processing information within our software will be key, as will leveraging current internet technologies like google maps, gmail, google sheets, and costar. You will work under pressure often.

Know Before You Reach Out
The commission/cash cycle on tenant representation transactions in CRE is often 9 months and can be as long as 18 months from your first meeting with a client. This means that getting started requires patience as you build momentum and a book of business.
